'Royl Field'
A beautiful soft pink
Sea Pinks (Thrift), Red Clover, Heather, Selfheal, Orchid, Marsh Cinquefoil, Ragged Robin, Lousewort are just some of the beautiful pink/purple coloured flowers in our meadows and hills. Our croft at Aister has been in our family for literally 100’s of years and we are so pleased to find the flowers in our fields that were looked after by my Grandfather - Peter (born 1898).
Our choice of name for this colour was after one of my favourite places to caa sheep in Cunningsburgh.
Royl Field was sadly the place where on 22nd November 1944 a de Havilland Mosquito crashed into the Hill - a memorial now marks the area.
