The Savage family have had a wonderful week here in Holsas Lodge. We love the accommodation – there was everything we could have needed and it feels very luxurious!
We enjoyed meeting the animals at Aithsetter, including Buddy the pony, Moonpig & Teapig, the cattle and the three adorable lambs – Kathleen, Dennis & Angus! We also had a session with Hazel learning Fair Isle knitting – I was quite surprised to find that I could actually understand how it’s done!
We managed to cram in St Ninian’s Isle, Clickimin Pool, Shetland Museum & Archives, the Ceramic Café in Lerwick (where we decorated our own Shetland mugs!); Mousa, Jarlshof, Sumburgh Head, The Bonhoga Gallery, Frankies Fish & Chips at Brae; Eshaness, Fjara Café bar; Burra (including the Smugglers Cave!); Scalloway; Jamieson & Smith wool shop and we even found time to relax a bit too!
We would love to come back and will definitely recommend this as a holiday destination! Good luck with the Farm Shop and Café.
