Peatland restoration open day

You are warmly invited to attend the Scottish Natural Heritage and Shetland Amenity Trust – Peatland Restoration Project open day on Tuesday 10th March from 10.30am to 2pm @ the North Cunningsburgh Hill. Unless you have the use of a 4×4 you should walk up the hill as the road is very rough, wet and muddy.

Please park in the parking area above Fladdabister and walk down the road to the gate. (please close all gates that you open en route!). It will take approx. 25 minutes to walk up to the site.

Please also come prepared with wellies and waterproof clothing as the hill is extremely wet this year.
We are on hand to take folk up the hill with the pickup if you phone/email us before hand.
