Preparations are well under way here and Kenneth and I harvested our Christmas dinner today… lots of lovely veg – tatties, neeps, carrots, brussel sprouts and Shetland kale – all from the rig (field), onions and leeks from the plot and beetroot from the poly tunnel. Put that together with our own ”born and bred” beef and lamb, our own strawberries and raspberries (frozen from autumn) – not forgetting our own free range eggs – we should have a lovely feast of ”know what”s on the table and where it came from”!!
Wishing you all a peaceful Happy Christmas and every good wish for 2014.
