Marian Armitage who bought and cooked our beef is the Author of the recently released book ‘Shetland Food and Cooking’. We were delighted to be invited along to the launch of Marian”s book and we can thoroughly recommend it.
It’s a great book full of, not only recipes, but where Shetland food is sourced from and how it is produced. The book gives great insight into how Shetland food was valued in the past and how it has moved forward to the present. The book is available to buy from the Shetland Times Bookshop and there is a (signed) copy in each of our Lodges for guests to browse.
